Educator, Creator, 3x World Champion Athlete
Christine Envall, renowned Educator, Creator and World Champion Athlete grew up on a Bio Dynamic Farm in the 70’s in a small central Victorian town, the second child of ‘educated poor’ Scientist-turned-farmer parents.
Always adventurous, at age 16 Christine spent a year in Brazil as a Rotary Exchange student before returning to Australia to study a Bachelor of Science in Food Science & Nutrition. This degree combined Christine’s passion for food and her scientific curiosity passed on from her upbringing.
During this same time Christine had discovered weight training as a way of controlling her anorexia, a condition she suffered as a teenager. Her weight training hobby soon led her into the competitive sport of bodybuilding. In 4 short years of competing, at 23, Christine became known as ‘Australia’s Most Muscular Woman’ and by 29 had won 3 Overall World Titles and become and Professional Bodybuilder in the prestigious IFBB, competing at the Ms Olympia.
Christine’s passion always remained with food and nutrition, and by utilising her formal education in Food Science and her practical experience gleaned from her years as an elite athlete she began developing sports supplements for Australian brands before launching her own range International Protein, in 2001. International Protein is now Australia’s leading brand, sold in more than 10 major markets around the world, including India, Brazil, Asia and Europe.

Dissatisfaction with the quality of the products being produced for International Protein by contract manufacturers led Christine to call on her years of experience working for food manufacturing giants such as Uncle Toby’s and Parmalat, and in 2009 opened a bespoke manufacturing company, Prestige Blending to service International Protein. Celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2019, Prestige Blending now manufactures for many well-known Australian sports nutrition brands and holds export contracts with top multi-national sports nutrition brands.
Christine has retired from competitive bodybuilding, her love of all things health and fitness remains, choosing to dedicate her boundless energy into developing the Middle Age Muscle Movement, aiming to help middle-aged people learn ways to maintain health and vitality into their 40’s, 50’s and beyond.
Middle Aged Muscle and Cenvall Choose My Mood are Christine’s latest projects. The Middle-Aged Muscle Movement aims to encourage middle agers to take up weight training as a way of rediscovering themselves.
